Getting to School
Cycle or Walk
Being a community school many of our Students and Staff can walk or cycle to DBS-EH. The zebra crossings and wide pavements help all to move around safely. At the school entrance, we have Traffic Safety Offices and our own very friendly and traditional Lolly Pop Man!
We have our own secure Bicycle parking racks within the gated grounds of the school. These keep the array of colourful, bikes, scooters and skateboards safe throughout the day.
Driving & Drop-Off
Many parents chose to drive thir children to school, especially in the hot months. DBS-EH have 3 drop-off points for the different age groups around the school. The drop-off system helps the flow of traffic and are guided by our Traffic Safety Officers. Parking is available onsite but there are limited spaces.
For safety reasons parking and drop off is not permitted at the front of the school gates as this blocks the zebra crossing.
Bus Transport
Dubai British School and Taaleem have contracted Arab Falcon Bus Rental LLC, a highly experienced and established bus transportation company. All vehicles used by Arab Falcon follow the strictest Road & Transport Authority (RTA) safety standards and guidelines. All bus drivers are highly experienced and authorised and trained by the RTA. A bus helper/nanny travels with each vehicle.
All buses feature CCTV cameras and a tracking system for the purposes of our students’ safety.
If you wish to apply for the school transport service, please print and complete the forms available on this page and drop them in at the DBS Reception.
STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO USE THE BUS SERVICE ONLY IF THEIR TERM FEE HAS BEEN CLEARED BEFORE THE START OF THE TERM.
