Welcome to the Sixth Form
Our Sixth Form students are immersed in a stimulating environment which promotes student agency and responsibility to prepare them well for life beyond school. Our robust yet flexible curriculum leads to internationally recognised qualifications which can enable entry to world class Higher Education institutions.
We complement our broad and balanced curriculum with enrichment opportunities to aid their development as responsible young members of the adult community. Students in our care are encouraged to gain additional experience through engaging in programmes such as:
- Duke of Edinburgh Award
- Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
- LAMDA Qualification
- Sports Leaders Awards
- Model United Nations
- Prefect Programme
- Peer Mentor Programme
- Leadership roles within many student-led ECAs such as the Medical Society
Emma Pennock
Head of Sixth Form
A comprehensive school-wide extracurricular programme enables our students to pursue interests in a wide range of activities from competitive sports teams through to a variety of clubs, societies and bands.
We are very proud that we are an inclusive Sixth Form offering three pathways: A Levels, more vocational BTEC qualifications, or a blended mix or both. Over the years we have seen our students gain places at some of the world’s leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial College, Johns Hopkins and many other prestigious destinations, studying a host of courses from Medicine and Law, through to Criminology and Property Management.
We truly believe that students live our mission to ‘Enjoy, Aspire and Achieve’ and are proud to have been rated Outstanding by both DSIB since 2017 and British Schools Overseas since 2018. We place great importance on personalised learning, empowering every student in our care to aim high and reach their academic potential, in a supportive, community-based environment.
