'Ever since I was a young boy I have been sports-crazed, I tried every sport I could and became involved in as many clubs as possible both recreationally and competitively; leading me to become involved in international programmes for both Cricket and Hockey.

This naturally led me to an exciting and enjoyable career in PE Teaching, for which I studied at The University of Edinburgh at both undergraduate and postgraduate level whilst maintaining my own sporting endeavours.

I started my teaching career at local independent school in Edinburgh, teaching the ages of 3-18 whilst also coaching the school Hockey team in the winter and Cricket and Athletics team’s in the summer. Since then I have found myself teaching in sunny Valencia, Spain. I have been fortunate to teach across both the Primary and Secondary School and I became very involved in the school extra-curricular programme, setting up numerous clubs for all year groups and abilities whilst also taking advantage of the good weather to improve my own Volleyball!

I am very much looking forward to joining the team at the Dubai British School and you can expect to find me encouraging your children to become involved in as many extra-curricular activities as possible!’
