Ruth Bryce

I am delighted to be joining the DBS team this year! I am originally from Northern Ireland, where I trained to be a teacher. After this, I moved to England where I spent many years teaching before making the exciting move to Dubai four years ago.

I absolutely love being in the classroom and supporting each child in their individual learning journeys. I am really passionate about children developing a love for learning through the experiences that they are provided with both inside and out of the classroom.

I believe that a positive, supportive and stimulating learning environment is crucial for children to become confident and resilient learners and achieve their highest potential, both academically and emotionally.

There really isn’t anything more rewarding than when you see the smile on a child’s face when they have their ‘lightbulb’ moment. I very much look forward to meeting the class on Transition Day!
